Greetings,
I have a Jacob Sole who was a brother to my ancestor, Isaac Sole, both sons of Stephen and Catherine Brown Sole. All I have on this Jacob is that he was born about 1846 in Monroe Co., OH. Wetzel Co., Va in 1830 is Wetzel Co., WV today and is across the Ohio River from Monroe County. If Jacob had a daughter born in the 1830's then it can't be that Jacob. However, there were only a few Soles in that area, and could still be connected further back. Have you tried the 1850 Census records?
