My Grandmother (Rofina Sohn) was from Karamurat and emigrated to Canada in the early 1950's. She married Alois Ruscheinski in Romania (I think in Karamurat) around 1922-1925. They had 11 children and left Romania when the people of German heritage were expelled from Romania around 1942. They travelled and eventually ended up in Germany at the end of the war. Do you have any information on the expulsion of the Germans from Romania? When? Why?
