I'm sorry but I can't be of much help with the Sobers family. I have hit a "brick wall" with my line and can't get back beyond my gr.gr.grandfather Dewitt Clinton Sobers. He was born in Seneca Co.OH in 1857 I have found since I posted those 2 messages on GenForum. I think his parents were Edgar Sobers and Sarah Skeels who were married in Seneca Co. in 1855 but I'm not sure. I think my Sobers came from PA originally.

I was interested that you are also a Hart descendant. Where does your Hart line start?
Are you related to the Signer of the Declaration of Independence?
