I am looking for information on Jacob Snyder, b 1809 Berks Co. PA and d 1883 Van Buren Co, IA. His wife at the time of his passing was Martha Jane Storer and in his will he named previous children, Mary Jane Betts, Belleville, IL, Rebecca Margaret Mahon, Philadelphia, PA, George Edmond Snyder, and Raymond Beecher Snyder, Keosauqua, IA.
His children with Martha were, Doras Lincoln Snyder, Ione E Snyder, Cassius S. Snyder and my great grandfather Elmer S Snyder.
Many of the children were born in Ohio
I have hit a brick wall and have not been able to find parent information for Jacob, or information as to the name of the mother of the first group of children.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
