I am looking for anyone who may be able to help me with the family of Bennett Snyder who to my knowledge was born in 1841 in Clinton County, Pennsylvania and died in 1909 in Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois. He is buried in the Linwood Cemetery in Galesburg.
He married his second wife, Samantha (Manta) Shay Feb. 14th. 1899 in Abington, Knox Co. Illinois. Samantha's first cousin once removed, Albertis Strain (1858-1912), married Emma C. Snyder in Kansas and I am wondering if there is a relation between Emma and Bennett Snyder. After Bennett's death his wife Samantha stayed in Southern California (Long Beach and Pasadena)with family and I wonder if anyone knows who that family might have been. Was it possibly someone in the Snyder family?
