i am trying to connect jennie m deck (married to peter shenk)to the snyder family. deck is jennies maiden name, i believe her father died when she was about 10 and her mother was mary.
in the 1880 census there is a samuel snyder born 1816 (head) mary 1818 (wife) mary deck 1840 (daughter) jennie 1869 (grandaughter).
if anyone can help me confirm this link that would be great.
i also have a david snyder 1790 married to a mary appleman 1792, are these samuel's parents?
they are all from pennsylvania.
