Sharon,
This is not set in stone either, but relates to the Samuel Snow you mentioned. This is from "The Commemorative Biographical Record of Tolland and Winham Counties". These are CT counties. The following is quoted from this book. (II) Samuel Snow(1),son of Richard, born may 28,1647, and his first wife Sarah, had children as follows:Samuel(2)born Feb 8,1669-70;Sarah,May 28,1672;Daniel,July 9,1674;Abigail,April4,1677;Richard,Dec.10,
1683;and Hannah,June 8,1686. The mother died
June 8,1686 and Mr.Snow married,Aug 9, of that same year,Sarah Parker,of Newtown. To them were born;Deborah,Joanna and Ebeneszer. The father died in 1717 and the mother in
1694-95."
This book had to be written in the years between 1893 and 1914. I was researching my Snow line and this mentions my gggrandmother, who was living at this time, she died in 1914, and her husband Hollis Snow's death is stated in book as 1893 which is correct, he died Sept13 of that year.
There are mistakes in this book and things that don't tie together, but this information fits same as found in another book, which states that Sarah was d. of John Parker of Newtown. Also gives birth dates of her three children and has her date of death as 28 Jan.1695. Hope this is helpful. I can not tie my line back past Abraham Snow, b abt 1708 in CT, who md. Abigail Fenton.
