Thanks Michael.
I know of six "pioneer" Snow lines (<1650)
* Anthony Snow arrived Plymouth in 1638 (no descendants beyond the 3rd generation)
* Nicholas Snow arrived Plymouth in 1623 (the so-called Mayflower Snow as he actually arrived on the Anne but married into Mayflower by marrying Constance Hopkins in 1626 who herself was daughter of Steven Hopkins an actual Mayflower passenger)These shows should call themsevles "Mayflower Hopkins":o)
* Richard Snow of Woburn arrived 1645
* Thomas Snow arrived Boston in 1636
* William Snow arrived Plymouth in 1643 (some sources say 1635)
Alas, my Snow arrived between 1698-1702 in the Kittery ME - Portsmouth NH area.Possible he could have been a cousin of the earlier Snows due to the Devon connection, but Snow was a fairly common name in Devon. And upon arrival, he seemed to throw in with the Nasons.Had he been in touch with anyone already there in the Snow clan, I suppose he would have connected with them somewhere.Perhaps he did and we just haven't been able to find any evidence. My biggest challenge is firmly connecting Henry to a father in England with any degree of certainty.
