Snodgrass Family Genealogy Forum

Nope, I've never gotten it typed in. Years ago I sent all the papers I didn't have typed into the source books off to another Snodgrass researcher who said he would get it all typed into the computer, but then due to health problems he was unable to do that. The first good news is that I just last week got all of the research (4 file drawers full) back from him, and so I will be able to work on typing it again. The second good news is that I have been working on my Kentucky Source Book a lot in the last few months, and have added a bunch of stuff. The third good news is that I am now living in Salt Lake City, just two blocks from the Family History Library, so I can collect even more Snodgrass stuff for the source books. The fourth good news is that Rena Mills will once more be helping me at the library on her days off. The fifth good news is that I am now using genealogy software and have typed the Bourbon Co. bunch into my database, which is posted on RootsWeb WorldConnect as Charlou10 (go to Rootsweb.com; click on family trees; go down to where it says "jump to a specific database" and type in Charlou10 and hit "go". The line you are interested in starts with James Snodgrass & Jane Greenlee. Because there are so many James Snodgrasses in my database, you can find the right one quicker if you type in Greenlee, Jane.
I am working on getting all the documentation added to the database so that one doesn't have to dig through my source books to find it, but it is a long process and I am far from done. The bad news is that not all the links in this line are rock solid. But at least I am living only two blocks away from the FHL, where many of the answers are available on film or in books -- but digging the additional information out is also not a quick process. I would very much appreciate it if you would write me directly and tell me about your Snodgrass line. My email address is charloud@comcast.net
