I sent you an e-mail to your address. Let me know if you received it. I have some scans to send you. A nice lady from Kennet Mo. copied some material from the library. She couldn't sort them out either. There are 2 doctor James W Sniders and a Doctor Jacob Snider in that area. Mine is the Dr. James W, who must have liked to move around. I feel like they must have apprenticed from an Uncle or father who was a Doctor. John, who i feel fairly certain, is the father to my James W., bought 2 coffins and had m d behind his name in an early Pope Co,Il record. But he is always listed as a farmer. I wondered if he didn't speak English well.I learned one of Dr James's sons spoke fluent German.
