I also have a Charles Snelson in my family. He married Dorothea Spotswood. They had 4 children: William Snelson m. Elizabeth Robinson.
They had 3 children:
John Snelson b. 1792 m. Mary Polly Reeves
Charles Snelson
Nancy Snelson m. John D. Reeves (Polly's brother)
Dorothea Snelson
Charles Snelson, Jr.
John Snelson.

If any of this rings a bell drop me a note.
