Thanx Marsha for all your help! I did know the McCarty-Snelling combo as the McCarty side has done a fair amount of research too, but we all seem to get stuck on ol' C.B.
His multi-marriages came as a bit of a surprise...I am not sure about the Racheal Husbands listing...Was that in Kentucky? Also I am not familiar with what WPA is...Where also do you find the marriage records?...I am trying to find as much online that is free...The only census i have for William H. is from 1900...I have seen Hugh's name quite a bit...do we have any common ties?
My dad use to tell us that his relatives lived near the Lincolns in Kentucky and walked to church with them...I haven't found out what county they were in, but i guess if i go thru the census i might have some luck...all your advice is much appreciated...sue
