I have information on Hugh Snelling (son of Aquilla Snelling and Lettice Chavis). I am a direct descendant. Don't have the info in front of me as I'm writing this but if you contact me, I will be glad to share. I have Lettice's Will; Curtis and Hugh were her sons. There is another Snelling line that has a Hugh but they are not the same. Our Hugh Snelling followed his adult children to Bedford County, TN around 1820.
