Hi Ann, your Sneed family repeats many of the first names of mine. I have a John W. Sneed who enlists in the Union Army in WVA in 1864. He has a son named Robert and Francis and other children who I have not identified. Do you have any indications that any of your line migrated to WVA (then VA) from Albemarle Co., in the 1850s. What does the W stand for in your John W?
