Rhodene, What time frame? I do believe that it is likely that Tabitha Sneed was the wife of Robert Sneed since he was the only Sneed listed on the 1790 or 1800 census. Tabitha Sneed was a witness to Benjamin Davis' will drawn in 1802. I don't know how common it was for a woman to witness a man's will in those days, but it makes me wonder if Tabitha wasn't related to either Benjamin or his wife Hannah. I think I've read on this forum that Robert Sneed probably came to Wake co. from Amelia Co. VA?
