I was thrilled to see your note regarding the Sneeds and Crains. I have a lot of information on the children and descendants of Silas Sneed and both his wives, Catherine Boucher and Mary Jane Harlow.
You mentioned Jap Crain--do you have any information at all on him or his parents?
Lewis Crain, of Breckenridge, Missouri, is my father, Paul Crains' elder brother. Uncle Lewis is still alive; he turned 90 this past April.
I would be glad to share the information I have on the Sneeds, Crains, and Harlows with you. Please send me your email address. If there is any way, I would love to have copies of the pictures you mentioned, and will gladly pay whatever reproduction and mailing costs there are.
