I have a copy of the transcribed bible records of James SNEED (b.28Dec1764 d.20Sep1853 in TN). I received the copy from my grandmother, who's mother's maiden-name was SNEAD (Mary Dianna SNEAD). I have been in contact with several people researching my family and some of the others have a copy of the same record but have yet to find the connection to our family in AL. George Washington SNEED's siblings are listed in the record also and the dates seem to match up with the dates in your posting. I have George Washington SNEED's dates as b1799-d1837 and his wife's name as Polly SNEED (I have found that there was a lot of intermarriage in the family). Please contact me for further information.
