I am looking for information on Archibald S. Sneed born about 1820, died about 1905 in Cherokee NC. He married Mary Ann Blythe and the only child I am aware of is James P. Sneed (My ggrandfather) born August 7, 1861 in Cherokee NC.
James P. married Isadora Plemmons and they had 3 daughters: Lula, Anna Leoria, and Myrtle. Lula was my grandmother. I know James P. and Lula returned to Cherokee NC in 1924 to sign up on the Baker Indian Roll. Indian records show James P. to be 1/4 Cherokee, but my mother said he was a full blood. I would be interested in any information on the Sneed family.
