I am also trying to connect my Snead line to the Sneads of Hanover Co, Va. and have a descendant tree showing Keziah Snead married to William Keyser. Children born were Polly Keyser who married Robert Surber, John Keyser who married Elizabeth ?, and William Keyser, Jr. who married Rebeckah Stowers. William Jr's children included William Snead Keyser born 1829, so it seems that the Snead line does connect here. Parents of Keziah Snead are listed as John Snead, Sr. born abt 1735, and Jane Winn, born abt 1744. Some say wife was Jane Jackson, but I have heard many say that it was Jane Winn. The descendant tree I am using came from Broderbund WFT Volume 2 tree # 2130, if you have WFT CD's. I have been trying to find a connection with this line, but no luck yet. My husband's 2g grandfather, Phillip Snead, Sr. was born abt 1785 in Va. and migrated to SC before 1830. I have been told by a cousin of my husband's that his line connects to Samuel Snead the golf professional, and I have his line that connects to John Snead and Jane Winn, but am still trying to find a link. Hope this helps in your search. Holly M. Snead
