My name is Ian Snead. I live in England, and am trying to trace my family tree. My Great Grandfather was a George Snead, from Goole in Yorkshire. There is a family story that George had a brother who left for the US. This would be anywhere between 1880 and 1920. Really don't know for sure. If I know my family well enough, it was probably my Great Great Grandfather!!! I just would like to make contact with anyone who knows any Sneads from the UK, esp Yorkshire at the turn of the century! Regards Ian Notify Administrator about this message?
