Hi, my name is Michelle sneed Ward and i have been searching my Sneed/Snead ancestors ffrom Florida also. They were from the Marianna, Jefferson, and Jackson cos. They were Anderson Sneed, Lawson Sneed. Recently we found Anderson and his 2nd wifes son Walter E. Sneed b) 1868-69 and he married a lady named Mollie(sorry no maiden name) they had 4-6 girls, and 1 boy named Walter e. Sneed Jr. there was also a William and Joseph sneed in Florida also in the 1860-1900.

I haven't came across that name but i will research my papers and see what i come up with. you can email directly at

Michelle Sneed
