I am trying to find out who the true parents are for Jeri Snead. She was adopted by Juanita Eugenia Snead and Malcolm Hornby Snead in Shreveport. Jeri was born in 1929 in Sheveport. Filed in Caddo Parrish 3:13 pm on March 12, 1929. Records are Convenience book 273, pg 615, INST 65152. This is my Aunt who I am trying to find out her true family relations. The delivering Dr. was Dr. John and the adoption home was ran by Ada Vinson DeLay. What I understand is that Jeri was delivered in a house that was burned to the ground. The adoption agency doesn't exist anymore, and you cannot open records in Louisiana. I was told that she was born into a well known family of Shreveport possibly illegitamately.
