I am not sure how my Greif A.(spelled in 1850 census) and Hambelton Snead relate but I am going with Dale Watkins post Greef is so unusal. He named his first William, second James E. Alexander is the middle name for Grief I am sure as he named his son Henry Alexander and my husband's dad is Laddie Alexander. Grief's inlaws the Trout's moved to Illinois so did they & are in the
1870 Richmond county Ill census. Henry A was 39 when he left there and came to Bonham Texas. I will let you know if I learn anything different. Kay Snead 718 Hickman Hobbs, NM 88240
