Sorry but I have no records that would tie her to any of the Snead's I have been researching. However, if she was from Richmond County, then we are probably connected in some way. I have found at least four different Samuel Snead's in Richmond County as follows:
SNEAD, Samuel (b Abt. 1730, Louisa County, Virginia; d.Bet. 1776 - 1777)
SNEAD, Samuel       (b Abt. 1767, Anson County, North Carolina, d Abt. September 21, 1846)
SNEAD, Samuel H.       (b Abt. 1791, North Carolina, d Aft. November 16, 1863)
SNEAD, Samuel S.       (b Abt. 1793, North Carolina, d Aft. 1866)

The Samuel b1767 had a daughter named Elizabeth but she apparently was born abt 1832. No other candidates that I know of. Check the USGenWeb, Richmond County, NC web page. Do a search on Norton/Snead in their archives. I saw a reference regarding a cemetery where both names were mentioned. A possible lead. Good luck.
