Hi John,

The father was Henderson Snead (1850 Census St Clair Co., AL) living between James Maulden and Tisdel Logan.

I do not know his wife's name.

Chestina Snead b 1830 m Elijah Pains
Mary Elizabeth b 2 May 1831 (Halifax, VA ?)
m John Wesley Maulden (Mauldin) 6 Dec 1848
John A. Snead b 1833
Issac Snead b 1835 d War between States CSA
Gen Joe Wheeler Command
Mildred Snead b 1837
Ambrose Snead b 1839

Ambrose was nick named Uncle Spank.
I have not proved that Mary Elizabeth was born in Halifax, VA.
