My 4th great-grandfather was William Sneed,
son of Evan Sneed. William was born in VA
around 1790 and was married to Mary (Polly)
Barnes who was born in GA in 1805. I know
that they had 7 sons, (1) Asa Elmarcus 2-14-1837 to 2-28-1905, (2) Robert 1828 (3) William Vaughn 1-12-1823 to 5-8-1906 (my 3rd
greatgrandfather), (4) Benjamin Richard 1826
(5) Joseph Lafayette 1830 (6) Murphy 1836
(7) Micajah. I don't know much about the other lines but I have lots of information on William Vaughn's line. Most of my info
came from the LDS genealogy site. It is really good.
Please let me have any info you have on Evan and Elizabeth. All I know is that he was born in VA in 1764 and his wife was Elizabeth born in VA in 1766. I do not know her maiden name or anything about their parents. Please help.
