From Surry Co., VA records:

"11 Oct. 1656. Robert Sneade, who married the Relict of Jno. Batt, authorizes his friend Jno. Orchard his attorney. Wit.: Nich. Perry, Wm. Willson."

Does anyone know anything about this Robert Sneade?
