I am looking for the parents of my ggg grandmother, Tabitha Snead, born 7/16/1816 in Accomack VA, married William S Shrieves on 12/24/1839, and died 4/13/1898. Tabitha and William had 4 children, Mary, John E, Adeline, and Thomas W. I am a descendant of Mary. Tabitha and William are both buried in the Modesttown Church Cemetery in Accomack County. Family lore has it that Tabitha's mother is a descendant of Sir Walter Raleigh, that's all I know and I don't even know that. Thanks.
