I'm only scratching the surface of my west indian ancestors, but my g-g-grandfather (who died in Sydney, NSW in 1869) lists his his parents as W.B.A. Jackson and Annie Snagg of St Vincent, West Indies. As records are difficult to find for this area, I've made some assumptions and think that Annie may have been the sister of Sir William. I found an announcement of the marriage of Anna Mary Jackson, the youngest daughter of the late Barenwall Jackson (I believe to be my g-g-g-grandfather)and neice of Sir William Snagg, Chief Justice of Antigua. Does this line-up with your information? Did Sir William have a sister called Annie?
