Dr James Smyth - Wakefield
Posted by: peter Smyth (ID *****9856) Date: October 27, 2008 at 15:19:49

Hi

I'm looking for information about a brother of my grandfathers who was called Dr James (Jim) Smyth. As far as I am aware he moved to Wakefield to work. He married Edyth May on 24 September 1929 and had two sons Burney and David and a daughter Jane.

The other brothers of James were - Jackson, Tom, Thomas Gibson (died aged 3) John Jackson (Died 1 year) John Burney Gibson Smyth (my grandfather) and sister Sarah.

The original family home would have been Dunaney farm, in Carnmoney, Northen Ireland.

Any one with information would be much appreciated.

Regards

Peter Smyth
