Last Will and Testament of GEORGE SMETHERS, Senior
In the name of God Amen. I, George Smethers Senior of Fairfield County and Walnut Township, Ohio, . . . . . . . . . . . .this my last will and Testament notifying and confirming this and none other to be my last will and Testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty fourth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above names testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in presence and in the presence of Each other have subsribed our names as witness thereto. His Test George Snider George X Smethers, Senr Jesse Pugh mark mark Fairfield County Ohio --. At a special court holden at Lancaster in and for the County aforesaid on the 7th day of February AD 1825. Present John Augustus, Jacob D. I would like more info on Susannah and Henry. willing to share whatever I have that might help.
We have a desc of Susannah's brother George in our DNA project and proven by exact matched to 6+ men our paper trail back to William Smither intact.
