What info are you looking for? My Smothers come from Lavaca County, Texas. William Smeathers was the first. His son John had two families. First wife Elenor...three children William, Mary and Archibald - second wife Mary Harris Ashby...three children John, Tobin and Martha. The name was changed to Smothers sometime after they come to Texas. If I can be of any help just let me know and I will send what info I have collected.
