Could your Elizabeth SMITHEE b. 1828 be the daughter of Richard SMITHEE and unknown?Other children for this couple include John S., George Washington, William Green, Lydia, Catherine, Hamilton B., & Margaret.
Several children born to this couple are still currently unknown shown on the 1840 census unless they could be children from a possible earlier marriage of his 2nd wife Elizabeth GOATCHER.
Richard SMITHEE's 2nd wife was a Elizabeth GOATCHER b. abt. 1812 Tennessee whom he married on Mar 10, 1840 in Lawrence County, Arkansas.
Do not know if GOATCHER is her maiden name or possibly a married name.
I estimate Richard & Elizabeth's children are James C., Eva Catherine and Eady E. SMITHEE are the children for this couple shown on the 1850 census below.
I have an unknown possible female SMITHEE born between 1825-1830 per 1840 census:
1840 Independence County, Arkansas census, Ruddle Township
