Elizabeth Smitherman was b. ca 1785 NC [according to Bibb Co., Al. Census records.] She married Benjamin Tucker before moving to Bibb Co., AL. Elizabeth died after 1863. In the 1860 US Bibb Co., AL. census she was listed as Susan. She and Benjamin had the following children: Matilda, William, Margaret, Issac, Sinia, Jesse T., Andrew Jackson, Joseph M, Jefferson, Samuel, and John. She is one of the few children of William Smitherman Sr. that I have not yet located an estate settlement on. I have estates later on in her line but one hers or Benjamin's.
