My family is doing the Wood family tree. I do know that we have Johnson and Glascock relations. And, somehow in my research, it seems that the Smitherman name is linked in, in some manner. Do you know the connection?
My gr-gr-grandparents were William and Mary (Johnson) Wood. Either my gr-gr-uncle or my paternal gr-gr-gr-grandfather was Joseph Wood, married to Catharine Glascock. I believe that this Joseph was a brother to William, even though William's father was also named Joseph.
