Samuel Smith b c 1811 NY and Hannah Bennett/Burnett b c 1819 NY lived in 1850 in Seneca, Ontario Co., NY. There was a Grace Bennett/itt/Burnett b in New Jersey, ae 73, living with the family. We are assuming this would be Hannah's mother? Their children: Isabel (m. Watrous); Thomas G. (m. Watrous); Sarah E.; and John B. m Rosa Belle Spencer.

Samuel then shows up in 1860 in Wellsville, Allegany, NY with a wife, Lavina; living with them are the two sons Thomas G. and John B. plus a daughter Mary b Mar 1860; in 1870 Samuel is in Angelica, Allegany, NY, with the wife Lavina and Mary, Harry and Samuel.

We lose track of Samuel and Lavina after the 1870 federal census. Any info would be greatly appreciated on the ancestors of Samuel Smith and/or Hannah Burnett/Bennett
