These Smiths lived between Longtown in Fairfield County, SC and the Wateree River in Kershaw. They were associated with the Ebenezer and Smyrna Methodist Churches. They were intermarried with the Watts, Mickle, Williams, Higgins, Ford, Boykin, Baucom, Boyle, Coleman, Clark, Raines, Kelly and Wood families of this area. If anyone in this Smith male line has had YDNA testing done please contact us. We would like very much to share information with you on this as yet undocumented line of South Carolina Smiths.
