Rebekah Crosby married a Smith (Coleman or William Coleman)
I not sure. They had a daughter Catherine Mariah Smith who married Wiley James Read/Reed. Rebekah Crosby Smith died in Cocke co Tn. 1844
Mr. Smith died? where? The Reeds where in Jefferson co Tn 1840 census he was a minister. 1850 Census Overton co Tn. has her brother W. Coleman Smith living with Catherine Smith Reed and Wiley J.Reed. daughter A. Sarah Reed. Wiley was now a doctor. Does anyone have anything to connect the Coleman Smith family to their daughter Catherine
Rebekah was b. 1780's in Va. Smith b. 1770's Va.
