CHARLOTTE PEARL SMITH, 82, passed away January 17, 2002. She was a member of the Houston Women's Bowling Assoc., Rainbow Girls Assoc., Blue Bird Bowling League, and Palace Pals Bowling League at Palace Lanes. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, teacher, mentor bowler, seamstress and friend to all. She was a lover of all animals. She was a 50 year resident of Bellaire and was preceded in death by her husband Iver C. Smith. She is survived by her sons, Danny D. Smith and wife Maria of Bellaire, TX., Donald D. Smith and wife Cristal of Bellaire, TX.; grandchildren, Celeste, Preston and Mariana; brother, G. W. Gross, Jr., and wife Karin of Vero Beach, Fl.; brother-in-law, Raymond V. Smith and wife Edie of Smithville, Mo.; pet dog, Sandy, many other loving family members and friends. Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m., Monday January 21, 2002 at the Earthman Bellaire Chapel, 6700 Ferris. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at Earthman Bellaire with Rev. Gene Vickery, Officiating.
