Not sure if this helps, but for what it is worth.

Jessie Smead (my great, great grandmother) who married Amiel Edward Scheske.
Eliza Antoninette Smead.
Harriet "Hattie" Smead. b. October 11, 1851 in Huron, Erie, OH & died on November 2, 1889 in Gonzales, Texas.I took a picture of her tombstone at the Masonic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas last week. She maried William C. Baquet on April 29, 1879.However, my great aunt might if you still haven't found anything.
Other children of Isaac and Sarah were Jane Smead, Catherine J. "Kate" Smead, and Ada Doughlas Smead.
There are a lot of decendents of the Smeads still living here in Gonzales. Also, Isaac Newton's Victorian Mansion still stands as well at 213 St. Andrew Street in Gonzales, Texas. The Gonzales Chamber of Commerce Website probably has a picture.
