Great-Great Grandfather George W. Smathers left North Carolina in 1900 for Klickitat County, Wash. With him was one of his sons Robert Henry Smathers and Robert's children: John E., Edward, Lee Dillard Smathers and Daughter Mary Smathers. With George W. Smathers and wife Cora Cordelia Buchanan Smathers was son John H Smathers and daughter Sarah J.D. Smathers. George W. Smathers died in Klickitat County in Sept. 1903 and Cora died in 1919, both are buried in Spring Creek Cemetery. Seeking any information about these Smathers who moved to Klickitat County Washington.
