I am trying to find information on Elzey Smallwood. He was involved in a Chancery suit with William Trussell in Virginia in early 1828. The Chancery suit lists both Loudon and Frederick County. I know William Trussell had a sister who married into the Smallwood family. Her name was Polly Trussell and I believe she married Hanijah Smallwood March 17, 1820 in Frederick County. If anyone has information on these people I would be very grateful.
