Looking for descendants of Lucy Turnbull nee West, born at St John's Woods Terrace, Marylebone, Middlesex, England on 29 August 1844, the only known child of Robert Simpson Jewison and Emma West. Emma West, daughter of Simeon Levi West and his wife Mary Ann Paine, later married Thomas Smallwood on 6 September 1852 at Warrington, Cheshire, England.
Lucy is known to have emigrated to Australia and married James Turnbull in Victoria in 1866 where children James, Edmund, Margaret and Walter J were born. A son George B Turnbull was born in New Zealand in about 1875.
Lucy returned to England where she is listed in the 1881 census as “Head Widow Female 34 St. John Wood, Middlesex Eng”. She apparently died after 1901, place unknown.
Any information on the fate of Lucy Turnbull nee West and her father Robert Simpson Jewison, would be appreciated.
