Hi Jeff,

My sincere thanks for the link to the Slusher Family Organization. My Slusher ancestor isn't Christopher, but his brother, Johannes Schlosser (m. Judith Howard in 1776) if my research is accurate. My mother was Mary Katherine Slusher, daughter of Charles C. Slusher (b. 7 Sep. 1883) and Lucy Sizemore (b. 14 Sep 1892), b. 22 May 1919 in Slusher, KY (Bell County). There are a number of Shlusher descendants still in the area who have been very generous in sharing information.

Any suggestions you may have to point me in the right direction to explore the background of Johannes Schlosser would be enormously appreciated.
