The Catholic church in Frontenac was the best place for me to find info-I left a small donation with the priest. Also, the funeral home had books I went thru for burial records. Have you tried obituaries thru the local papers or the genealogy group in Pittsburg? They helped me tremendously when I first started. Also, the special collections library on campus at PSU has mining accident reports and I found Grandpa's accident recorded there.
