Typically when one sees 1902-1904 in the column on the manifest for "ever been in the US" it would mean the person had been in the US from 1902 through 1904, not that he had been here in 1902 and then in 1904

Tbere are 2 places in Slovenia called Tabor

One located 32 miles SW of Ljubljana

The other located ENE of Ljubljana

I would suspect that he was from the one SW of Ljubljana, close to Italy, based on the fact that other SOREC had Italian given names

Have you posted to the Carbon County Utah board?

Have you searched for the person who was listed at his destination, George KARTELICH or KORTELICH?
