Hi LaVerne,

Should we assume that Luka, Eli and Mikael lived in Alaska?

Eli would be Ilija
Mikael may be Mihal or Mihalj

I find a WW II Draft Registration for
Name: Eli Dozet
Birth Date: 6 Mar 1888
Birth Place: Bonich
Residence: Sacramento, California
Employer Saddle Rock Restaurant

And then I find this manifest
Name: Ilija Dozet
Arrival Date: Apr 1903
Age: 16 Years 0 Months Years
Estimated birth year: abt 1887
Gender: Male
Race: Servian (Serbian)
Port of Departure: Bremen, Germany
Ship Name: Main
Port of Arrival: Baltimore, Maryland
Destination: Chicago,IL
Friend's Name: Geric Budisal
Last Residence: Pecani

I also find another Ilia DOZET arriving via the Port of NY (Ellis Island)

Not likely the above are Slovenian... they are Croatians or Serbs from Bunic in the Lika region of Croatia. All DOZET found on ship manifests are from that part of Croatia.

I find no one named Luka... but I do find a Louis on a ship manifest and later in a WW I Draft Registration in Alaska... he lists his next of kin as his brother Michael in Arizona... at Jerome AZ I find a Elia and a Duro (which is Croatian for George)

There are several DOZET listed in the current online Croatia phone book with only one in Pecane

Also it is more likely the traveled to the US seperately not together... seldom in spite of oral family history did this happen.

Perhaps we could help if we had more info....

Where did they live in the US?
What were the names of their spouses?
What are approximate birth years?
