My father does believe that the family name was changed from "Ule" to "Ulle" upon reaching America. My Great Grandfather's name was Andrew Ule and his wife's name was Anna (or Anne). He passed away in 1932 so was probably born in the early to mid 1870's. I will try to find out Anne's maiden name; she passed away in 1926 so may have been a little older than Andrew.
