Blatnik, Rose
At some point, shortly after arriving in the U.S. in 1905, my great-great-grandfather, Michael J. Paulin, married a woman named Rose Blatnik who was "a widow with two children." I do not know anything else about her, and I imagine "Rose" is not her full name.Presumably, Blatnik was the name of her first husband, and I'm hoping someone may know of a brother to one of your own ancestors who married a woman named Rose prior to this time.My great-great-grandparents talked about speaking "Granish," so I suspect that Rose was Gottschee.Rose would have been born sometime around 1882.
