My grandfather was born in Banska Stiavnica and I would like to identify the house in which he grew up in the first decades of the 20th century. The problem is that I only know the address that was used in the early 1900s - it is Banska Stiavnica III./216. (district 3, house number 216?) - but I have no idea how to translate this into today's street names and house numbers.
Could anyone help? Any idea whom (and how) I could/should contact? Anyone perhaps knowlegdable in Banska Stiavnica local history...?
